Together, we make writing right. I'll help you understand the processes, formats, styles, and other elements of writing well so that you can succeed.

Using an evidenced-based, high-dosage tutoring model, lessons connect with students academically and personally at the optimal frequency, help them where they are in that moment, and align long-term goals with personalized instruction and materials using the approaches, methods and strategies that work for them.

You must request to use Zoom or Google Meet if that is your preference. Otherwise, we will use the Wyzant platform for lessons. I do not have a personal preference.

You must have payment details on file before lessons will be scheduled. All payments are processed through Wyzant. No exceptions.

Qualifications and Experience: Professional writer and editor (20+ years); Certified in secondary English (grades 5-12) and 15+ years experience working with students of all ages inside and outside the classroom; and Master's of Education - eLearning Technology and Design.

Knowledgable, patient, and wonderful tutor

Lisa immensely helped me with the ACT English and Reading Sections. I started with a 33 in English and 28 in Reading on one of the first few tests I took. She helped me bring that to a 35 in English and a 36 in Reading. She always gave me helpful practice tests and went over them with me. She definitely knew a lot about the ACT and taught me a lot of the grammar rules. I couldn't have gotten my score without her!
