I have worked as a tutor at Chaffey College and the Claremont Colleges, where I am now a Master Tutor of writing.

Growing up I struggled myself with reading because of dyslexia. This has given me insight into the fact that students will not learn and reach their potential if they are not aware of how they learn.

My intent is not only to help the student gain mastery over the material or skill they want help with, but to help the student gain mastery over their own learning process.

I have guest taught philosophy classes and helped an English professor with her classes. My work with the very different student populations at a community college and at an elite liberal arts college has helped me to become even more flexible to the needs of all students.

I have helped everyone from high school, to adult college students coming back after years in the workforce, to highly advanced writers looking to polish their term papers.

Learning new skills or turning around your academic performance can be daunting at first. It takes a lot of hard work, but I am here to help you set goals that are achievable and will make your journey through academia less stressful and more certain.
