Hello, I'm Glen and I love working with students and getting to know people. I have a strong work ethic in everything that I do. A few things about me; I played football at the previous college I attended, Reinhardt University, I enjoy playing golf, trivia, and spending time with my family. My tutoring approach is to find out what students are struggling with and focus mostly on those things. I plan on finding out what the students are working on in class and basing my lesson plan on those topics. As a social studies major I plan to ask the students what kind of history or government class they are currently in and centering my lessons on those courses. I would need the students to bring their notes from class with them and by reviewing their notes I and can show them how to study better and how to better understand the material. Going through in-class notes is essential to learning history as history is mostly memorization and repeatedly going over everything helps to better memorize the material.

My experience in working with students is as follows; I am currently a Social Studies Education major enrolled at the University of Georgia. I have taken three education classes so far, and through those I have experience working with students and tutoring them. I also have other experience working with student athletes through assistant coaching at my high school during the past three summers. I have a strong desire to help students succeed and hope to make a difference for them.
