ADHD

I have taught and tutored students with IEP's in middle school, high school, and even college. Currently, about half of my students have IEP's. I have taken special education courses and workshops. I have a lot of experience working with ADHD kids. I know that if they are on medicine, there are certain times they perform better. Also, they need to keep both their minds and hands busy when learning. They often need redirection as well.

I am certified in special education, but I also worked at a school for kids with various learning disabilities for two years full-time, named Chelsea School. I worked with many kids who were dyslexic and had to make accommodations for them.

Nice tutor

It was my first session with Karen and we discussed GED methodology for testing and subject areas that might be covered. She was interested in assessing my needs as a first step in this process.
