When I returned to Mexico, I took a course to become certified as an English teacher. I began teaching English when I was 17 years old at various language schools and also at an Elementary Bilingual School to 3rd and 4th grade students.
At the age of 18, I moved to Charlotte, NC where I completed my Bachelors degree in International Business with minors in German and French. During college, I taught Spanish classes part time. After graduation, I began teaching more and also join the administration team of The Language Academy. After 2 years, I became the Vice President of the company and my role changed from teaching to managing the business. Although I stopped teaching, I was always involved in curriculum edits, updates and also in helping other teachers improve their teaching skills.
I have been teaching for more than 20 years and I believe I was naturally gifted to do so. I love building relationships with my students which help me understand their needs, backgrounds, strengths and weaknesses in order to help them with their learning goals.
