Great tutor

Youngmao is not only very knowledgeable but a great tutor,his teaching style is letting the student show his strengths while doing the work and then he intervenes when the student shows his weaknesses, asking questions and having the student show some critical thinking (college style). About his personality, he is polite, soft spoken and punctual. I will recommend him to anybody taking AP chemistry.

Yongmao is very intelligent and patient. I learned substitution reactions, elimination reactions, and radicals with him and he completely broke them down and made sure I understood every step of the way. Overall a great tutor!

My first session with Mr. Yongmao S. was very helpful. He was understanding of the fact that I had no clue what I was doing when it came to the math intensive portions of what we worked with. I really liked how patient he was with me telling him I still don't understand (after a few times of him explaining the content to me) because it made me feel okay that I wasn't grasping it right away. He relates the problems to real life so it makes it easier to relate it and then understand the questions. I was impressed with how quickly he can do math in his head! I wasn't uncomfortable with him at all- he's polite, friendly, and professional.
