I hold a Master’s in Education, with a concentration in history, including World History and American History. I hold a Doctorate in Educational Leadership. Additionally, as an avid traveler, I have traveled around the country and the globe, enriching my understanding of the content matter that I teach.

I have a passion for art and history. With ten years of teaching experience, both in the classroom and on-line, I have taught students ranging in age from high school to college, in various subjects including, Humanities, Government and Civics, World History, and American History. Currently, I teach American History and AP US History.

I have a minor in art and have taught at the college level.

As a dedicated educator, I am ready to assist students in achieving their educational goals. I can explain complicated economic, social, and historical concepts in a clear and concise manner. Drawing on primary sources and the Socratic Method, I encourage students to analyze cause and effect relationships, and to express their arguments in writing and speaking. I am consistently near my computer and will respond to students’ needs in a timely manner.
