I have been a resident of Long Island and have practiced medicine in the area for over thirty years. Since retiring and completing my Masters in Public Health, I have been eager to find a position which combines my three decades of diagnostic experience with my desire to teach and to contribute to the local community.

I became interested in medicine as a result of a strong bond I developed with my AP Biology teacher in high school and my Physiology professor in college and continued on a path to become a clinician and practice medicine in my community.

I additionally have teaching experience as a preceptor in the Family Practice Residency Program at Jamaica Hospital and as a teaching attending for the Franklin Hospital pre-med student summer program. My positive experiences as a student in science and my teaching experiences have provided
me with the skills necessary to help students develop and grow as future scientists and clinicians. For the past one and a half years I have focused on training students on the most relevant and challenging topics in the Living Environment/Biology course curriculum as well as preparing them for the NYS Living Environment Regents Exam. I have developed a specific strategy and approach for taking the exam and have been very successful realizing great outcomes.
