We reviewed Histology and he made it very learnable and understandable. He’s by far the best tutor I’ve ever had! I wish he was my actual instructor so I could learn my course material the way I do during our sessions.

I feel so fortunate to have Adam F. as my tutor for the National Academy of Sports Medicine’s Certified Personal Trainer curriculum and exam. I have attention deficit disorder, inattentive type, but I have always been an autodidact. I actually write curricula and exams for literature and writing classes and for corporate training; I facilitated the homeschool education for my youngest child and his small cohort of college-bound students. When I decided to add functional fitness training to my services, I purchased a full curriculum from first one, then another and then a THIRD accredited and respected fitness trainer education program. I hold several different personal and business coaching and fitness training certificates, as well as certificates in grant writing, copy editing and technical writing. But none of the big, expensive curricula fit my learning style and three times in four years I have spent in excess of $1300+ a pop without ever feeling I was learning the material because the modules, quizzes, activities just don’t align with the textbook... I want to earn this certification but more important I want to master the material. Adam is an excellent and respectful communicator. Going through the material with him is a completely different, far more meaningful and satisfying experience than trying to match videos, lectures, and activities with chapters in the the textbook. Adam understands that my ADD-inattentive is exacerbated by a series of devastating traumatic life events two years ago. He’s patient when I get a little confused, never fails to give positive feedback if my answer to a question is partially correct. Adam F knows his material very well and more important he is terrific at communicating complex concepts without triggering a panic episode for me. I like Wyzant--I liked it when my now-college graduated kids were in school and I like it for my own use. The ability to download a recording of each lesson is an outstanding and helpful feature.
