If you are concerned about passing a test or a course in any of the following subjects or would just like some extra help and support, I can help you master what you need and leave the anxiety behind.

I also provide general support for test-prep, resume writing, grant proposal, business proposals, learning/improving computer skills, and other help. Geometry Savior!

Our sophomore has struggled with Geometry. Fred has been fabulous all year keeping our son focused, patiently explaining the concepts, teaching him techniques to solve problems and memory tricks to keep the various formulas straight. Fred has also really helped with History and Spanish. Additionally, Fred has been very flexible in scheduling lessons around our ridiculous schedule and communicating with all of us to keep the calendar straight. And finally, Fred genuinely cares about our kid and his results. We really appreciate Fred! Thanks Fred!

Helpful and Organized

Fred's first two pre-algebra sessions have gotten my son more confident woth key concepts. Fred is able to provide guidance then get my son working problems independently within the season.

Great tutor

Fred works very effectively with my son. They study primarily Chemistry and Math. It's very helpful to my son, for both homework and exams. Finals are this week and Fred's help will be critical.

Very helpful math tutor

Fred is working with my high school sophomore in a class with a difficult curriculum and a teacher who does not seem to connect with my son in terms of learning style. This is the first time he has had any difficulty in math. Fred has worked well with my son and has increased his confidence and comfort level with the material.

Liane, 31 lessons with Fred

Engaging

Fred has a very gentle yet persistent manner. He guides the student's (in this case a boy with trouble in grade 8 algebra) learning to focus on the right steps and this transforms to the student developing confidence and being able to approach the problems with confidence and a set of tools.

Algebra 2 made fun again!

Fred has made math enjoyable again for my son. Fred's teaching methods really work for my son, he comes out of each session rejuvenated and excited about math. Fred's style just seems to click for my son. I am grateful for Fred's patience and determination in making my son grasp the concepts that have been so difficult for him to understand at school. Thanks Fred!!

Excelent Tutor, Excellent Result

To Whom it May Concern: I am best pleased with Fred's excellent work tutoring my son to a successful B in his Spanish 1 course. My son has Asperger's Syndrome and is not the easiest student to tutor, but Fred was nonplussed from the first and dived right in with him. They worked together well from the outset but I hedged my bets by having Adam take this potentially difficult course credit/no credit. Imagine my surprise and pleasure when Adam made a B grade. Fred will continue to tutor Adam through Spanish 2 this spring term and I am certain of a successful outcome. I can recommend Fred without reservations.

Great help for tests

My daughter has really enjoyed working with Fred. He is tutoring her in IB Math Studies, where she has struggled to C's on tests. She says he is very good at explaining math concepts and she has been able to raise her test scores.

Excel Training

Fred was very easy to work with and learn from. He sharpened my Excel knowledge so that I can now easily zip through the many spreadsheets I use for my work with confidence. Highly recommend!
