My name is Wes and I live in Clarksville, Maryland. I appreciate the opportunity to tutor because I get to really focus more on individual children! I like to incorporate various materials/props in my lessons. This can help the child learn, engage and further enjoy the experience. --- Wyzant Tutoring Experience ---
- I tutored a 5-year-old child (in person) for 6+ hours and a 4-year-old child (online) for 8+ hours.

---- Various Tutoring/Teaching Experience ---
- I provided reading tutoring for a soon-to-be 3rd grade student, in Aug/Sept 2023.
- I have taught ESL Oral-English classes to college students in China for 3 academic years.
- I have tutored English (ESL) online to students (ages 5-10) through VIP Kid (128+ hours).
- Through working at a childcare facility, I gained experience teaching children (between the ages of 3-5) "The Letter People" curriculum, letter recognition, sight-word recognition, writing letters, etc.
- I have 7+ years of experience teaching gymnastics classes, primarily for children ages 3-11.
- I have taught private and semi-private gymnastics lessons to children.

--- Various Director Experience ---
- Between December of 2020 and June 14th of 2023 I was the preschool & kindergarten director for a gymnastics facility in Maryland. I also helped run the preschool summer camp during which we did a variety of other fun activities in addition to gymnastics!
- During two summers I was camp director for the 7-9 year-old camp at River Valley Ranch.

- In 2011, through Stevenson University, I earned a bachelor's degree. This degree focused on equipping me to teach English & Social Studies to students between 4th - 9th grade.
- In 2008, through Howard Community College, I earned an associate's degree in general studies.
- I have earned two TEFL teaching certificates.
