Hi, my name is Saim and I am a 4th year MD student! I scored a 271 on Step 2 CK and 90th+ percentile on every NBME Subject/Shelf Exam throughout preclinical and clinical years. I am a recipient of the Prescott Award for Academic Excellence, which is awarded to the top two students with the highest academic rank after 1st year of medical school. I also received awards for highest grade average in my Pathology and Pharmacology course. I earned Honors (top 15% of class) in every course subject during preclinical years of medical school.

I have over 7 years of experience working as a tutor. I have worked as a teaching assistant during high school and undergrad for introductory biology and physiology courses. My responsibilities included helping explain difficult concepts introduced in class to students in order to aid their understanding as well as assisted students in completing various assignments. I also hosted review sessions before exams to help students prepare for exams and better understand material. My teaching style involves guiding students using positive reinforcement and by providing feedback to help them study more effectively. I currently work as a tutor for medical students needing help in various courses during medical school.
