Baseball

My baseball experience began with Little League and lasted all the way to collegiate baseball. I was all conference at a AAA high school in Marion, OH as well all as all district American Legion for two years. I was a member of the West Liberty State College team for 3 years. I also played semi-pro baseball in Ohio for several years. I coached all levels of local youth baseball from tee ball all the way through high school in Marion, OH.

Basketball

I played high school basketball for Marion Hardin earning a letter my senior year. I began coaching as part of my first teaching assignment as the 7th grade boys coach at a middle school in Marion, OH. I coached all levels of boys basketball from middle school through varsity for 16 years prior to moving into school administration.

Football

I coached middle school and freshman football for 14 years in Marion, OH. As head 8th grade coach at a middle school, our teams lost 1 game in 4 years and won 3 league titles. As freshman coach at Marion Harding my duties were offensive play calling, quarterback/running back coach, and defensive backs. In 10 years we won four conference titles with only one losing season during my tenure.
