My name is Kyle H. I am currently finishing up my Master's Degree in International Relations online from my Alma Mater Troy University. I have a Bachelor's degree in History and Political Science. I have always had a passion for learning and I want to be able to share that passion with the students under my tutelage. Tutoring like teaching relies solely on the ability of the instructor to find a way to relate the material with the student and for me, that is all the fun. I understand that everyone learns differently, and not everyone learns at the same pace as others. With that, I explore what ways work for the student and then challenge the student to get a little better each day. For me, growing up I was never a great student with math, until I had a tutor. Someone who was patient and understood my contention with math and worked with me to get a little better every day. That is the same mentality I bring to tutoring.
As far as my experience tutoring, I tutored History and Political Science throughout High School and into college. I worked with a number of people in my time as tutor and I have never had a student not succeed, whether it was to pass a test, a class, or choosing to pursue a degree in those fields. Also, I was the Scholarship Chair for my fraternity in college. While this was not a tutoring position per se, it was a position that required a lot of attention. I was responsible for knowing class schedules for everyone in my fraternity, maintaining daily study hours for the fraternity, acquiring additional help for members struggling in particular areas of study, and providing a healthy learning environment for all fraternity members.
As a History and Political Science student throughout college, it was incumbent upon me to succeed in my English studies. I have written many papers which requires a deep understanding of English. How to communicate, write, and comprehend what is written. I have read countless books and continue to expand my lexicon each and every day. I try to read at least one
