Patient, kind and very knowledgeable.

I've been taking lessons from Lorenzo for the past couple of months in preparation for a long trip to Italy, and it's been a great experience. I've learned a lot from him. It takes me a long time to think of how to say what I want to say in Italian and I speak very slowly, but he is incredibly patient and has never made me feel rushed. He's also just really enjoyable to speak with and is very kind. My Italian has definitely improved since starting lessons with him and he's helped me gain a better understanding of the past and future tenses. Taking lessons with him has been the best decision ever! Grazie mille, Lorenzo!

Knowledgeable and Patient Tutor

Learning a new language is sometimes overwhelming and difficult but Lorenzo takes his time with me, answers all my questions and is extremely patient. I am two lessons in and I feel like I am getting a grip on the language. Watching back the lessons is extremely helpful and it allows me to feel more confidant going into the next lesson. Lorenzo is a great guy and I would highly recommend him as an Italian tutor.

Best Italian tutor you will find!

I have been taking Italian lessons with Lorenzo for several months and he is an excellent tutor in every way. I grew up in the US with my parents speaking an Italian dialect at home, which is very different than the standard Italian, and so I have had to start from the beginning to learn the language and grammar correctly. Lorenzo is a professor of Italian, having attended the University of Milan and the University of Notre Dame, and is currently teaching at a university in the midwest. His tutoring lessons are exactly like taking a great college Italian course, but with the added benefit of personal one-on-one attention from the professor. Lorenzo comes prepared to each tutoring session with detailed powerpoint slides that help me learn grammar, vocabulary and give me practice speaking. He is patient when I make mistakes, and gives me detailed answers and explanations to my questions. As a native speaker of Italian, Lorenzo is able to give his students insight into exactly how the language is spoken in Italy, and he's been trained in teaching Italian to foreign students. If you are serious about learning Italian, you will not find a better tutor than Lorenzo!

Great professor!

Had a wonderful first lesson! Lorenzo was very methodical and very patient. We started with very simplistic phrases, and then built upon them. We had a great and fun time, and I am excitedly waiting my next lesson!
