We focus on distractor answers, test-taking strategies, and learning essential content to raise scores significantly. I have a track record for helping students reach their individual goals and nail the score they need to be admitted to their desired colleges.

What makes my approach unique from other tutors is my focus on making thinking visible, a process required for success on all standardized tests. I have been an English & Communications Professor for 10 years as well as a middle and high school Language Arts Teacher. Having graduated from Drew University with a Bachelors in English Literature and a Masters Degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, I have a strong educational background and extensive experience working with students of various ages, from middle school to college, and even post grad.

I worked for many years at a private test prep company that focuses on standardized tests such as ACT/SAT, English AP tests, SAT subject test, and basic English/Language Arts subject tutoring. I have a tremendous success rate for improving test scores and teaching test-taking strategies, as well as improving reading and writing skills.
