The Orton-Gillingham Approach, a method I am trained in, is a direct, explicit, multisensory, structured, sequential, diagnostic, and prescriptive way to teach literacy. This approach is particularly effective for individuals facing challenges in reading, writing, and spelling, including those with dyslexia.
