Bio

I don't want to clutter you with the many subjects that I CAN teach. I want to tell you about the subject I'm an expert at: SAT and ACT. I help high school students increase their scores so they can get into their schools of choice and get top scholarship money, which saves their parents potentially thousands on the cost of college.

ACT: 34/36 (I would no doubt get a 35 or 36 if I took it today)
SAT: 2400/2400 superscore
(My scores helped me get into Duke University, earn a full tuition scholarship to Colgate U and a Full-Ride (Tuition and Room & Board + free laptop) to The College of New Jersey)

I've also received 800's on the Math IIc and Physics subject tests, and 11 perfect scores on Advanced Placement Exams, so I'm a test taking pro.

In addition to this, I integrate valuable life lessons rarely taught or even mentioned in primary school and college that help students become more successful and balanced people in the real world. My students continually come back to me and thank me for showing them these quick and simple tools in stress management and productivity.

Patience is a virtue

You do not have to text with Dan many times to learn that he is very intelligent and knows the material pertaining to prepping for the ACT. I was searching for someone with that talent and happy to have found Dan. I explained him that I knew that he had tutored many people to raise their ACT scores but could he be successful with a student that had ADHD and little dyslexia. That would require a lots of patience. Dan rose to the ocassion and exercised patience and understanding pertaining to the difficult situation we had with my grandson. I want to thank Dan he wss great and I would recommend him to anyone. Dan thank you for your help.

great SAT tutor

Dan was a great tutor and picked up perfectly where our last tutor left off. We were in a bind with losing our tutor just over a month before the SAT and Dan was able to help prepare Chris the week before. I plan on continuing to work with Dan to get Chris prepared for his next attempt at the test, very easy to work with and breaks things down for easy understanding.
