I'm Brian! I graduated with a degree in Computer Science from Duke University and a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies at NYU, focused on literature and sociology. Six years ago, I began studying for the LSAT, and found I enjoyed the test's logic puzzles and argumentative reasoning. After scoring a 176, I realized I could use my unique blend of analytical thinking and reading prowess to help other students improve their scores. Many students come to me after taking a class or self-studying the basics, but unsure how to take the next step. I offer in-depth explanations that the books can't provide, and help develop individualized strategies and study schedules that group classes don't allow for. I am proud to say my students have improved their scores by an average of eight points after working with me!
Besides enjoying the intellectual rigor of the test, I love getting to know students and helping them progress towards their goal scores. The LSAT is a tough and at times bewildering test, but with the right guide it starts to make sense, and can even be fun! The best part of my job is when a student tells me a section or question type they initially struggled with is now their favorite.
