Hello there! I earned my Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Johns Hopkins University in 2019. Following my undergraduate studies, I took a gap year before embarking on my medical school journey, during which I worked as a tutor. Presently, I find myself in my fourth year of medical school, actively engaged in the application process for residency programs.
Over the course of six years, I've had the privilege of tutoring students spanning from elementary to high school levels, both individually and in group settings. My prior tutoring experiences include:
- Serving as a tutor for a test preparation company during my gap year between undergraduate and medical school, where I specialized in science and math and also taught ACT and SAT courses.
- Volunteering for a tutoring company for two academic years during my undergraduate studies, where I provided guidance to elementary school students in subjects such as math, science, history, and writing on a bi-weekly basis.
- Acting as an organic chemistry tutor for my school during a three-month summer block.
- Volunteering as a chemistry and math tutor during the year between my undergraduate and medical school endeavors.
- Volunteering as a math tutor for two years during medical school.
Throughout these diverse experiences, I've had the privilege of offering comprehensive tutoring services to students at various educational levels. My approach to tutoring is rooted in proactive learning, tailored to each student's needs, with the aim of nurturing enthusiasm and fostering self-directed learning.
