I was really struggling in an oceanography class that was very math heavy. Martin walked me through the math and was able to explain the general concepts to me so I had background knowledge to do things on my own when I didn't have a session with him. Some tutors are good at helping you finish homework but once they're gone you have no idea what to do; Martin was actually a very effective teacher and made it so I didn't feel lost without him. Martin tutored my son in physics. My son said he was a “great teacher” and “really smart.” I never heard him complain about going to his multiple two hour sessions with Martin and that is a big deal. I plan on using him next year for any relevant subjects.
