I am an experienced special education teacher with a diverse educational background and a deep passion for helping students excel in reading and math. My expertise stems from a unique combination of experiences, including my time in the Air Force, an associate's degree in pharmacy, a bachelor's degree in criminal justice, a teaching license in Special Education K-12 and General Education K-8, as well as a master's degree in curriculum and instruction.

I believe in utilizing research-based instructional strategies that promote engagement, critical thinking, and skill development. By incorporating multisensory techniques, hands-on activities, and differentiated instruction, I create an inclusive and stimulating learning environment where students can thrive. I have taught students ranging from 4th to 7th grade, providing targeted interventions and support in English language arts.
