I am currently an online instructor with over 20 years face-to-face experience at a local junior college. I also have over 16 years experience in 3 local Louisiana school systems. I specialize in American and World History. I enjoy creating critical thinking questions that students respond to in writing.

I love tutoring because (1) I love watching the light go on in a student's mind when they really understand something for the first time. (2) I miss face-to-face interaction with students, because that's how I was initially trained. I use the traditional narrative method combined with the latest learning technology to ensure a quality learning experience for all types of students.

I am thoroughly versed in my content and I care about my students. I have had more than one students take my courses while they are either struggling with History or do not enjoy it. When they finish with me, they take other courses that I teach because they are hungry for more history. That's what the essence of teaching history is all about!
