Knowledgeable and patient tutor

My daughter studied French with Philip over the summer. He is patient and knowledgeable also very effective in his teaching. My daughter is brand new in French, but over 6 lessons with Philip, she can now confidently going to her new school as a 7th grader, and join the kids who already had one year of French under their belt. My daughter really enjoyed her lessons with Philip. As a parent, I enjoyed working with Philip as well. He is super responsive and flexible with his schedules, which made my life a lot easier. We are lucky to find Philip and plan to keep him as my daughter's go to French tutor whenever she needed one.

Knowledgeable and Prepared Tutor

Philip has been a pleasure to work with over the past 5 months. He has provided so much insight on the French language and culture, which can't be learned from a textbook alone. He is prepared for each meeting and is always bringing fun activities for us to do such as various readings (Le Petit Prince and la Fontaine's fables), magazine articles, and work sheets he creates himself. We have covered so much in the past few months, which includes grammar, vocabulary, business phone calls and meeting etiquette, making appointments etc. I look forward to our meetings every weekend.
