I am the mother of two sons. My oldest is 20 and currently studying in Scotland but attends UNC. My youngest is a senior and is going to attend ETSU obtaining a bluegrass and engineering degree. I have spent years working in the school system as a volunteer tutor and also as a substitute teacher. Currently, I am enrolled at SPCC and going to obtain my medical assistant degree.
I believe that education is the key to reaching a person's potential in life. I love the opportunity to invest in a person's future by helping them gain wisdom and knowledge. I believe it does take a village to raise a child and look forward to the opportunity to help in a productive way.

I have a love of words. Our ability to communicate whether written or oral, sets the path that we follow. Writing, literature, and God are my passions. Do what you love is my personal motto.
