Bio

I am a certified and licensed Speech Language Pathologist with additional certifications including TEFL, PESL (accent reduction) and WIlson Reading Program. My areas of interest include stuttering, ESL, literacy (phonics and reading comprehension) articulation disorders and accent reduction. My goal is to listen to the needs of the client so every session will produce results that are meaningful for you.

I have provided intervention and communication support via an online model for over 6 years before the pandemic moved many to virtual instruction. I find the delivery model to be one that is convenient for clients with more flexible scheduling. I have worked with pre-school aged though adults for 30+ years both individually and in groups. Lynda was an excellent tutor who provided me with valuable knowledge and support in understanding phonemic vs phonetic inventory, analyzing speech samples, diagnosing speech disorders, reviewing diacritics for transcription, and identifying phonological processes in speech samples.
