Hello! My name is Cameron S. and I recently graduated from Texas Tech University. I received my Master’s in geography with a minor in natural resource management. While I was in Texas, I was able to lead a lab section for geography. Through this experience I learned that no student learns the same. As a tutor my focus is to help identify and excel with your learning style. I look forward to creating a fun and exciting atmosphere that will help improve grades and promote a lifelong love for learning.

Math has always been an area I've excelled in. Understanding numbers can be difficult for many students. Patience and perspective are two important keys to helping students excel in mathematics. First the patience to understand how a student thinks, allows you to see things through their perspective. Once you understand how they perceive the problem you can better equip them with the tools to solve the problem.

My Master’s degree is in physical geography which is closely related to geology. The similarities between these two sciences would allow me to excel at tutoring students in this area. My love for the physical world and its natural resources also will help us excel in developing the necessary skills.
