My Name is Amanda, I’ve been a teacher for 10+years. I have experience with core content K-12 and am also certified for special education mild to moderate and moderate to severe. I also have extensive experience with children and adults with autism and severe disabilities, teaching job and self help skills. I work part time as a Behavior Specialist. Not only am I able to help with independence and self help skills, I have extensive experience with core content K-12 as well as adult education and GED.
I am a certified teacher with a Masters degree. In my experience in helping children learn, I have been able to scaffold skills, target areas where skill deficits exist, and teach concepts where they are easily understood.
