I have taught Economics at El Camino College and Cal State University Dominguez Hills in the MBA program and the Georgian Institute of Public Policy. I like teaching Economics and take time to explain concepts, provide simple real life examples of how to apply economic principles in every day life and business decision making. I like people and make my lessons interesting to students new to the study of Economics. I thought German to US Army soldiers and Officers in Germany for several years...

I am a student of US History and provide interesting sidelights of history to help students to put historical events into a real life context. I reached out to Herb for tutoring assistance for my 12th grade son who was struggling with Economics. Herb was quick to respond to my request and made himself available to come and work with my son. Right away I could tell that Herb was very knowledgeable about Economics and that this was also something he was passionate about. He was easy to engage with, did a great job at explaining things and could put things in perspective for my son to relate to and understand. He took the time to understand where he was struggling and gave insight on how to help. He was able to help with everyday homework as well as final projects that my son was working on.
