I am a retired Language Arts teacher with the Douglas County School System. Having recently retired, I remain active working with students in an After School Program and as a substitute teacher. I enjoy working with children of all ages, especially middle and high schoolers. As a former teacher, I understand the importance of the teacher-student relationship and why students often need one-on-one instruction to excel in a particular area of study.

Having taught in Washington, D.C., Los Angeles, California, and Douglasville, Georgia, I have an extensive background in teaching theatre and language arts. Presently, I hold two master's degrees and an undergraduate degree in theatre. In the fall, I will be teaching at West Georgia Technical College in addition to substituting for the local school systems in my area. Additionally, I have taught ESOL both in Los Angeles and Atlanta for several years. I believe working with students is the most important and rewarding job for anyone interested in preparing our youth for the future and assisting them in taking their places of leadership in tomorrow's world.
