I'm Amy! I am a certified early childhood, elementary, and reading teacher. I also have degrees in psychology and history. I also have minors in political science and biology. I began tutoring in elementary school and realized that I love helping others learn. I always go the extra mile to find the best ways for my students to learn. I try to make learning as enjoyable as possible because this helps my students learn even more. I use lesson plans that clearly explain the material in a fun way. Then I give my students extra time to practice on their own to make sure that they know the material.

I have been a teacher for over 15 years. I have taught students ages birth through adults. I was a reading specialist for 8 years. I worked with the students who needed the most help. My students' reading improved by multiple grade levels in the time that I worked with them. I also tutored students in math, science, and social studies to help improve their grades. I have taught English online for 5 years. I have used fun lessons to improve their English speaking ability.
