I worked for three years for an executive search firm. I spent countless hours reviewing resumes, reading cover letters, and interviewing job candidates. This line of work gave me a lot of insight into how people present themselves to prospective employers as well as what signals employers are looking for.

Econometrics

I have taken and scored well in advanced econometrics courses from three different universities: Williams College, the Barcelona Graduate School of Economics, and the University of Colorado. I am currently taking the highest level of econometrics, theoretical econometrics, in pursuit of my PhD. I am also experienced with applied econometrics, utilizing software such as MATLAB and STATA and then synthesizing the results towards research efforts.

I have studied and successfully managed the college application process many times, for myself and for 5 of my students. I start the process by narrowing down the student's academic interests and personal fit, then strategically choose which schools to apply to, and then craft an application that highlights their strengths and compatibility. Through my research, I understand what admissions officers are looking for, and whether or not a certain student would be a good fit for a particular school.
