I graduated from Purdue University in 2012 with a Bachelor of Science degree. During my time there, I joined a club that provided free tutoring to high school students in the area. I deeply enjoyed seeing a student understand concepts, especially ones with which they were previously struggling. After college, I joined the United States Navy as a nuclear electronics technician. I received academic honors in all 3 schools involving topics such as college level mathematics, physics, chemistry, nuclear theory, instrumentation and control, heat transfer and fluid flow, materials science, and other complex courses.

During my time in the Navy, I advanced through the ranks quickly and provided complex training during my time in the fleet. I also provided training to students at the same training commands I attended. As a young adult, I struggled heavily with academia, and I believe that gave me a unique perspective of understanding what could be preventing students from understanding particular topics.

I have provided tutoring to high school students, gave nuclear related training to high-ranking service members. I also taught young Naval students the fundamentals of nuclear theory. I have never run in to a student that I could not help if they were willing to put in the effort. Every student has a unique way of understanding concepts and I have the ability to find that unique approach they may require. I have received awards such as instructor of the class during my time as an instructor in the Navy, and I have also received awards during my time in the fleet for my high-level trainings.

I have over 10 years worth of experience as an instructor, trainer, and tutor. I am passionate about everything I do, and I try to pass that energy to my students as well as I can.
