About Christopher

Bio

I have been a musician for most of my life and taught for a good part of it as well, including an internship at the National Guitar Workshop.

I love helping people not only with the mechanics of music and writing, but how to genuinely express themselves and present what they know in these mediums.

It takes good, quick writing to become Summa Cum Laude at a university. I advise people on simple skills that help make their writing more direct, purposeful, and impactful.

It takes good, quick writing to become Summa Cum Laude at a university. I advise people on simple skills that help make their writing more direct, purposeful, and impactful.

I have been a student of music for more than 15 years. At age 13 I taught myself music theory and began writing songs. I furthered this through private music instruction on multiple instruments and an AP course in high school. Then I brought these skills to fruition at Duquesne University, where I went through practical and extensive training in music theory, history, jazz arranging, jazz improvisation, and began to use electronics to make music.

I have been a guitar player for most of my life and have experience in metal, rock, jazz, pop, and devotional music. I have taught on and off for about 8 years, including an internship at the National Guitar Workshop.

Please contact me, even if you are only considering me and want to get to know me better. It is my honor to serve you and help cultivate your skills.

I completed training in jazz and guitar under Ken Karsh and others at Duquesne University. This training included theory, pedagogy, and many different genres of music. I was also an intern at the National Guitar Workshop. I have continued performing and composing music on the instrument, currently making ambient music and music for yoga classes.
