About Lisa

Bio

Kumon Math and Reading Center was my first tutoring job. Kumon helps students get academically ahead of their peers in their regular schools. Because of this, students have confronted me with Kumon math assignments on material that they have not yet learned in their regular schools. It was my responsibility to teach them these new concepts. I have also worked with ESL and special needs students at Kumon. I have worked with Kumon for three years. Kumon Math and Reading Center was my first tutoring job. Kumon helps students get academically ahead of their peers in their regular schools. Because of this, students have confronted me with Kumon math assignments on material that they have not yet learned in their regular schools. It was my responsibility to teach them these new concepts. I have also worked with ESL and special needs students at Kumon. I have worked with Kumon for three years. I have also been self-employed as a private tutor for two other high school students in their Chemistry courses, one AP, one regular high school Chemistry. These students tell me and their parents that I explain everything in detail and make it much easier for them to understand and engage with the material. They act as though I have made them excited about the concepts they have learned with me. The girl that I tutored in AP Chemistry made a 100 on her AP Chemistry final.

Lisa has done a great job with my son . Lisa is thorough and patient. My son told me Lisa has made math easier for him because she simplifies it for him. My son started with a 68 and now has 91. I would highly recommend Lisa .
