Hello! I am a PhD graduate of the Mechanical Engineering program at Cornell University and I am currently working as a Principal Manufacturing Engineer. I love working with students to build their confidence in math and science and to teach them strategies for studying and organization. I am committed to creating interactive sessions that encourage students to construct their own knowledge; establishing a structured classroom that fosters students’ understanding and organization of the course material with consistent guidance and feedback; and demonstrating my role as an approachable mentor by treating my students with respect and cultivating an open and honest dialogue.
I have over four years of experience tutoring middle school, high school, and college students in math as well as two years of experience as a full-time high school Physics and Engineering teacher. I was also the lead instructor for the laboratory section in an undergraduate electronics and prototyping course during my MS at Ohio State. I look forward to bringing my teaching experience to my tutoring sessions! Most importantly, I love math! It has always been my favorite subject to teach and learn.
