My name is Justin and I am an experienced college essay tutor specializing in helping high school students receive an offer from the Ivy League. I received my Bachelor's degree from Cornell University with a double major in Government and Psychology. In addition, I have pursued my Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at London Business School. As a former Ivy League and Top 5 world MBA student, I understand what admissions officers are looking for in students' essays. As competition has increased, cliche essay stories about overcoming immigrant hardships or sports challenges are no longer enough to make an application stand out. I help students uncover and write about their authentic story through an engaging and systematic lesson plan to maximize their chances to get a Top 20 or Ivy League acceptance letter.
Previously, I have helped over 10 junior and senior high schoolers navigate the college essay process to achieve their dream school. I prefer to work primarily online (1:1) where students and I can establish their college goals, set a schedule that can be flexible to the student's needs, and collaborate on their essay. My goals as a tutor are to help students brainstorm their most compelling college admissions story, improve their writing prose and structure, and provide guidance on their whole college application process. Ultimately, all lesson plans will be tailored to the students' specific needs and goals.
I am easy to reach, accountable, and will always provide fast responses. I want to benefit the students as much as possible and welcome any parents' help or suggestions. Feel free to contact me with any questions or schedule a lesson!
