Hi there! My name is Rhiannon, I’m an electrical engineer, and I’ve been tutoring off and on for over 5 years now. I mostly tutor mathematics and I really enjoy helping students finally understand topics that have been terrible for them to try to learn! I especially enjoy teaching algebra and making the material make sense to you in your own way. In my experience, students usually have a bad experience with a teacher or a particular topic, like fractions or exponents, and it can make it really hard to get past that bad experience. I want to show you a different way to experience math and make it something that clicks for you. Sometimes you just need to hear things in a different way one-on-one and in a less classroom-y style.

Some background on me, I have my bachelors in Neuroscience from the University of Southern California, my Master’s in Global Security Studies from Johns Hopkins and another bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from CSULB. I worked as an engineer for years on aircraft and now I tutor from home and love helping people overcome their math problems!
