Bonjour! I am an experienced French tutor, specializing in conversation and grammar instruction. With a Master's Degree in French language and literature as well as personal experience living and working in France, you can feel confident that I am qualified to help you achieve your goals. I am comfortable teaching both children and adults how to communicate effectively in French. I am happy to customize your lessons to your needs. I love the French language and culture and am excited to share this passion with you.

I am also available to tutor English as a Second Language. I have taught English to children and adults from around the world (Central and South America, Europe, Japan, China, the Middle East) and enjoy the cultural exchange. I have a strong foundation in English grammar and techniques for improving conversation.

In addition, I am qualified to teach Elementary subjects (K-6) including pre-algebra, elementary math, reading, grammar, spelling and vocabulary. I enjoy helping children strive for and reach their potential.

Knowledgeable, patient, and accomodating

Christine has helped my 7th grade son with his French studies. Whenever he is struggling with concepts, expressions, and/or comprehension, she helps him via customized lessons. She has helped clarify subjects for him so he is able to achieve a greater understanding and increased confidence. He feels very comfortable communicating with her about anything he has struggled with in class so she can help him in a specific and meaningful way. In addition, she has been very accommodating with scheduling. It has been extremely beneficial to him, and I highly recommend her.

Christine is very knowledgeable with grammar. I have been working with her for the past few months to take an exam and my knowledge for grammar has improved tremendously. Very easy and explains things throughly. Anyone who is looking to improve grammar for an exam whether it be SAT, ACT, GRE or in my case NYSTCE ATAS exam i would recommend her!
