In Florida, I have been teaching at language schools since September 2016.
Before this I had lived overseas for more than 3 decades. I have taught IELTS in class rooms, and personal one to one. I have taught TESOL course for several years, and also have experience teaching in 5 day full immersion English Camps in Turkey. I also have experience tutoring business professionals with personalized Corporate English, as well as communication and speaking competences.

I enjoy learning everyday. I believe to be a good teacher requires not only motivational skills, but the desire and attitude to also be a good student. Every opportunity has potential to be a learning activity. This is also why I enjoy teaching.... the ever expanding world of education. It never stops.

I like to communicate and I believe to be successful in your studies, one should enjoy the journey. It's fun to learn, and it's fun to teach, when both student and teacher are engaged, having fun, and making steady and measurable progress.

Being a native New Yorker, with many years of teaching experience overseas, has given me not only insight to living and engaging in a foreign language, but also the personal experience and the ability to understand some of the difficulties entailed in becoming more confident in speaking and interacting in a second language.
