Hi, I'm Dan. I am a Penn State graduate with a B.S. in electrical engineering. I love math and physics, and I have hundreds of hours of experience with tutoring at a high school and college level.
I became a tutor because I love helping students learn and understand difficult concepts. I will give you the skills and confidence to succeed in math and physics, and I will help you develop a study plan that will lead you to succeed in the future.

Successful First Session
Daniel met with my son Will. After first session, Will immediately felt connected with Daniel and is excited to be working with him for the rest of the summer.

Excellent.
My son learned a lot in his first session. Was very comfortable with Daniel and was able to understand the concepts being taught. He met in person which was also a plus for my son since he doesn’t do as well with virtual learning.

Great tutor
Teaches clearly and to the point very easy to understand and patient ; helped me solve my homework with me step by step. I now understand center of mass and rotation of a rigid body on a fixed axis much better!

Excellent tutor, smart, nice, professional, and clear.
I asked Daniel for physics lessons. We are going over different topics and he has been excellent in all of them. He has different approaches to problems and solutions which has been very helpful. Daniel makes learning fun. One important thing is that he works with Wyzant Dashboard. It is actually the first time I use this option for communicating with a tutor and it is easy and works extremely well. Daniel is very clear and knowledgeable in his lessons. He knows what he is going to teach at the moment the class begins so he does not waste time trying to figure out how to solve the problems. It is nice that he responds very fast to Wyzant mail and that he has been flexible regarding teaching hours. Looking forward to my next class.

Helpful and encouraging
Daniel is tutoring me online in Physics 212 (a Penn State class). It's really great that Daniel first asks me if I have any questions or topics I am confused on that I would want to review at the start of each lesson. This emphasizes that each lesson is tailored to each student's needs and understanding. I also like that he prepares content to go over and new questions for each lesson, which aligns with what I am learning at the time. He's a really friendly guy and he makes students comfortable to ask questions. I've had experiences where tutors are condescending, but Daniel is very understanding and encouraging. He is also extremely flexible in finding times to tutor, and responds quickly.
