Hi! My name is Megan. I have a Bachelor's degree in Elementary and Special Education, a Master's of Arts in Teacher Leadership, and an Educational Specialist degree in K12 Leadership. I am starting my 11th year as a teacher. I have been a 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and now a kindergarten teacher. I have taught all subject areas, especially math. It is a passion of mine. I also taught Special education for three years. Throughout my time in the classroom, I have tutored students outside of my district with success.

I am looking forward to working with students again outside of the classroom because I know how much extra support can help a child learn and grow. There is only so much time in the day and only so much a child's brain can absorb throughout the day. With movement and breaks coupled with activities, learning can happen, when kids don't even know it. I like to have my students working on projects and hands on with the materials. It is not just about paper and pencil, although sometimes you need to have that to see where the students are at so that you know where you need to go next.
