Hello!
I’m currently working on a master’s in applied statistics, and I tutor for the SAT on the side.
Studying for the SAT is a marathon, not a sprint, and requires having an effective study routine that produces results yet doesn’t prematurely end in burnout.
For my grad school applications, I took the GRE, and after months of preparation, I got a 169, a 167, and a 5.0 in the Quantitative, Verbal, and Analytical Writing sections. Additionally, I have been studying German on my own since early 2021 (I was originally planning on going to grad school in Germany), and in April of 2023, I passed the TestDaF, scoring a 5 in each section, a score corresponding to C1 fluency in the CEFR framework.
Both experiences demonstrate my familiarity and capability regarding long-term studying. I do not claim to be gifted student, rather someone who can identify his weaknesses and come up with ways to work on and around them in order to find success. As your tutor, I will work with you based on your situation to identify areas of improvement and come up with a plan for tackling the SAT.
