Hi! I am Adrienne Day and I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a Bachelor's of Science in Mathematics for Secondary Education. I have worked in a middle school for the last 7 years and enjoy teaching kids math. I am currently a certified Math 8 teacher in Missouri and love helping students build confidence in their math abilities. I have led and participated in various tutoring programs and efforts during my time as a teacher, including enrichment and academic intervention strategies. I believe in an emphasis on communication and cooperation with students to make the learning environment a collaborative one, where the student and I can both work together to improve their math skills and to do so in a way that is rewarding and effective.

While I am a full-time math teacher at a local middle school, I would like to extend my knowledge to students who may be struggling outside of school. I am available most evenings and on weekends. My approach to math and to tutoring is to give students an opportunity to work through some difficult math topics and look at math in a different way. I look forward to working with your student and helping build their confidence in math.
