I graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology with a 4.500 GPA. In college, I studied biology and received a 4.000 GPA.

Over the past six years, I have accumulated diverse tutoring and teaching experiences, teaching more than 150 students through my test prep tutoring company, Ace Learning VA. As the lead tutor and co-owner, I've proctored exams, facilitated writing workshops, and aided in both reading and math skill-building.

My role as a tutor for the WashU MCAT Problem Solve Group saw me guiding 30 WashU students bi-weekly over four months. I designed presentations, leveraged official AAMC Exams and Section Bank questions, and provided individualized tutoring sessions. Since, I’ve been privately tutoring MCAT.

My teaching methodology is simple: practice is paramount. It is my conviction that maximizing hands-on practice is the most effective strategy for mastering content and enhancing test-taking skills. I strive to instill this philosophy in every student I mentor.

Furthermore, I am the proud creator of two YouTube channels where I share all of my college application essays and my MCAT test-taking journey.

Debate has honed my critical thinking and articulation. My achievements in various national debate tournaments, ranging from Harvard to Yale to state championships, underscore the depth of my commitment.

I’m currently engaged in fascinating research projects at the medical school in neurosurgery, plastics, and dermatology. In the past, I’ve been awarded the National Neuroscience Research Prize Finalist by the American Academy of Neurology and Siemens Science Fair Semifinalist.

I am a believer in the power of knowledge, empathy, and positive action. Archimedes said, “give me a lever long enough, and I can move the world.” Let’s get you your lever, so you can move the world.

Public Speaking

I love public speaking - the rhyme, rhythm, energy, passion. The words matter - their delivery matter, and the energy with which you say them matter. I was a nationally ranked debater in Lincoln Douglas Debate throughout my high school, and then was a part of a crisis helpline in college that refined my ability to speak with empathy, energy, and compassion. I love public speaking in every form, and I would love to help you with public speaking!

My writing has won me hundreds of thousands of dollars in merit-based scholarships and has given me acceptance to UPenn, Cornell, Johns Hopkins, Carnegie Mellon, WashU's 8 year medical program, and more. It has also awarded me interviews with the Mayo Clinic, WashU School of Medicine, UChicago School of Medicine, and Yale School of Medicine. I love writing and composition more than anything - you'll be in good hands with me!

I was the American Academy of Neurology Neuroscience Research Prize Finalist (top 15 students in the country) and the Siemens Science Fair Semifinalist. I'm a top 5 medical student with a 100th percentile MCAT score. I love biology more than anything and I will pass on that love to you, my friend!
Chemistry,

Chemistry

My four-person team wrote chemistry problems that would be tackled by nearly 300 students from across the country. That year, our exam had the theme of farming. Through working closely with my talented teammates, I realized that chemistry itself lends to creativity: it is the art of synthesis. I thought about how virtually every material in our modern world has, at one point, been modified or synthesized in a flask. Writing questions about the forces that underlie agriculture deepened my appreciation of the immense diversity of chemistry and its pervasive role in civilization. I felt proud that our tournament fosters the same burning curiosity for chemistry that writing questions did for me. I'm excited to be able to share my love for chemistry with you!

MCAT,

MCAT

I scored in the 100th percentile on the MCAT (524/528). As MCAT tutor for 25 WashU students over two courses, I hope I imbued every lecture with a love for the subject. We solved hundreds of exam questions together, sparking fascinating group discussions. I was committed to providing comprehensive and intriguing explanations, encouraging a deeper why behind every question. When solving B/B questions, we marveled at the complex architecture of DNA, cells, and organisms built on matter and energy. While solving P/S questions, we were amazed by how evolution generated sentience, driving complex behaviors. Since that class, I've been offering one-on-one private tutoring through my clients on Facebook. I’m grateful to my students for their work ethic and profound insights.
