Hello! I am a current senior at Patrick Henry College majoring in Classical Liberal Arts and minoring in Biblical Studies. I have a passion for pouring into others and helping students understand complex, beautiful subjects. My love of education was especially fostered during my time in college, due to the genuine love and care that my professors displayed in every class. I strive to emulate that same amount of care when I tutor.

I have experience in tutoring both high school and college students and am especially knowledgeable in research, writing, theology, philosophy, and debate. In college, I have worked as an intern high school teacher, and am currently working as a peer tutor. Additionally, I have experience in competitive public speaking. I competed in Stoa (speech and debate league) for five years in junior high and high school and am currently on PHC's civic debate team. I competed at the National Invitational Tournament of Champions two years in a row and received the coveted Founders Award both times for qualifying in debate, limited preparation speeches, and prepared speeches. I have around 4 years of experience coaching various types of public speaking, especially Team Policy debate, platform speeches, interpretation speeches, and limited preparation speeches. I currently have a 3.67 GPA in college and have made the Patrick Henry College President's List every semester since my sophomore fall.

I typically work on a one-on-one basis, meeting with a student/students and assisting them with their specific needs. As a peer tutor, I normally tutor my students in person. I also tutor high school and college students in competitive public speaking and writing. However, I do have experience teaching in a classroom setting, having given lectures on speech and debate for the National Institute for Homeschool Debate and various other high school debate clubs.
