Great Revit teacher

Sergio is knowledgeable, patient, and effective as a Revit teacher. I wanted to learn how to tag all the doors and windows in a 3-bedroom, 2-bath house plan and how to put a simple roof on a 12’ x 8’ shed. In one hour, Sergio walked me through all three of my goals for the lesson. As he told me the steps to take for each process, he explained the why and the how so the steps made logical sense. If I couldn’t find the place on the screen, he circled or underlined on my screen where the tools or menus were located. Then after I completed each set of steps, he let me repeat the steps on my own, trying to recall what he had told me to do the first time through it. He then patiently waited while I worked it out and only prompted me once when I asked him for help. This second time through with limited prompting really helped solidify what I was doing. Also, when I was doing the roof on my own, he went further to point out a shortcut for the 4-inch overhang so I would not have to adjust after the fact for the default setting of 12 inches. Great session!
