Hi there!
I've been teaching in a classroom since 2015. This is my 7th year teaching at my current school. Second grade has been my favorite to work with but I love the upper level math and sciences too. I love teaching. Please let me know what your struggling with and I will do all I can to help make things more understandable for you. I am a friendly teacher who has kids of her own. I know things get tough sometimes but I will be here to help every step of the way. Just do what you can to communicate with me, verbally, visually, or even in sign language. I will learn what you need to be successful and help you understand it all too.

As a second grade teacher I love and appreciate teaching all subjects including Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts. When teaching math, I use manipulatives, drawings, and number lines. Whatever we need to create for you to understand it, we will. I am currently being trained by my county's ELD program coordinator, so I am comfortable teaching English as a second language as well. I have been working with the county for about 5 years now to ensure I am teaching my EL students in a fair and appropriate manner.
