My Education: I obtained my Bachelor’s Degree in Social Studies Education and my Certification from Manhattanville College. Currently, I am working on gaining my Masters of Arts in Teaching at Fairfield University. Both schools are highly accredited liberal arts colleges in the Northeast, well known for academic excellence.

My Occupation: As a teacher, I have worked with students of all abilities in a variety of classroom settings. As a paraprofessional, I make sure that the students I teach are meeting their goals on a daily basis. Consistency is key in education, and I make sure that I am following through with their education plans so that they can gain mastery over the knowledge and skills in class. This job affords me the ability to see how different teacher structure their classrooms and how they pay attention to the individual needs of the students in their care.

My Skills as a Tutor: I have had many satisfied and repeat customers. I work with students from middle school to college. Each of my sessions are tailor made to each individual student's learning styles and preferences. My greatest strength is helping students better understanding classroom content. I have received excellent feedback from the parents of my students, who have thanked me for helping their children with the content. My specialty subject is History, particularly AP History courses. I worked with a young man who wanted to pass the Ap World History exam. Over the next several months, I created a study plan by which, he could ask me questions on the content he found difficult, I would explain them, using worksheets or v

Great Help With Understanding Novels

Gregory helped me understand one of the toughest literary works of all time, Heart of Darkness by Joseph Conrad. He was very helpful in helping me understand the major underlying themes of the novella. He also helped me improve my writing skills.

Just charging money for instant booking

This teacher is unethical as he had charged me for an instant booking that never was confirmed with him and the cost I applied was $50.00 and under and he accepted my class without talking to me even. I am not sure how these tutors do not understand that a instant booking is not guaranteed for a tutor to earn money. Not recommended.

Tutor responded:

I am sorry to hear that you were unsatisfactory with my teaching. However as I had already schedule the time and had spoken to you at least twice before the time, I know I did every thing on my part to ensure that you received tutoring. However you did not show up at the scheduled time that you had requested. My time is extremely valuable and if you did not want to meet at that time it is your responsibility to let me know. Otherwise you will be charged as it says so in my profile. Unless you’re not able to make it you will be charged the full amount. Thank you.

Great at getting information

My son worked with Gregory and the end product was a very good essay. My son said it went well. The vocabulary words were impressive. The layout was organized.
