My career-focused educational journey began as a student of the Academy for Engineering Design & Technology at Bergen County Academies, where I expressed a strong interest in mechanical engineer and robotic design. In college, I had the opportunity to showcase my aptitude in mathematics and physics - I was a teaching assistant for calculus-based physics in my sophomore and junior years, before becoming a course assistant for my mechanical engineering major my senior year. In between semesters, I was a top instructor at well-known tutoring agencies, such as Mathnasium, Sylvan Learning, and Kaplan, where I specialized in mathematics of all levels - from elementary education to AP-level mathematics and physics, as well as SAT and ACT preparation. Currently, I am Senior Innovation & Design Engineer for Amazon where I apply, daily, all of the lessons I've learned through my educational and career development.

My accolades in the classroom were not just for my knowledge of the subjects - my primary praise was for my patience and understanding with students, and for nurturing both their confidence and knowledge in the subjects I taught. Through all my years of experience in tutoring, I have developed a wide array of teaching skills and methods applicable to all areas of primary education, secondary education, and undergraduate education.

Highly Recommended

We have used Christopher to tutor my child's AP Calculus and AP Physics on a weekly basis for several months. Christopher has a flexible schedule, comes on time, and comes well prepared. He is patient with a calm demeanor, understands the materials well and is able to explain the concepts clearly. He gives example problems to work out together to ensure understanding of the materials and is willing to stay longer if necessary. He is also available in between sessions for quick homework help. My child's grades and confidence in these subjects have improved, thanks to Christopher. I give him my highest recommendation.

Highly Recommended

I used Chris for 2 different Rutgers Physics classes (203 & 204). He was very helpful for both, especially 204 which was much harder than 203. He was very patient and explained things in detail. He did pre-work with some of my homework so he was ready to answer my questions. He had a number of 'tips' and 'tricks' he taught me that helped with some of the concepts. Overall, he was very helpful and I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for help in a college level physics class.

Chris was extremely patient and knowledgable

We reviewed physics and did word problems pertaining work, force and energy. We are in the process of how to properly understand and deconstruct a word problem to obtain the final answer.

Great Calculus tutor!

Christopher was very knowledgeable, and was very easy to understand his explanation for Differentiation, integration and Substitution. He even stayed a little longer to make sure we went over all the topics I need it help with.
